Lucy Bowman
School and college trust leader and chief financial officer
Lucy started her career qualifying as a chartered accountant at Deloitte where she worked with a range of clients on both audit and advisory work. She primarily focused on public sector engagements and worked on the consolidation of the DfE accounts for a number of years where she gained an understanding of academy accounts.
Lucy left Deloitte to join a small multi-academy trust in London as chief operating officer and led the transformation of the special school funding model and the growth of the trust in order to secure its financial sustainability.
In 2021 Lucy relocated and joined a medium size multi-academy trust in the North West as director of finance with responsibility for estates and IT. She oversaw a range of changes to the operations of the trust, including large capital investment programmes and transformation of financial systems and procedures.
Lucy joined Dixons Academies Trust in August 2025 as school and college trust leader with responsibility for strategic finance and estates.
