Undertaking Functional Skills Level 2 alongside an apprenticeship

If you do not currently hold a level 2 qualification in maths and/or English, providing that you meet the readiness criteria set by LMP, you may be eligible to complete Functional Skills Math and English at level 2.

you must be able to commit to studying alongside the apprenticeship
if eligible, the Functional Skills course starts in the first three months of the apprenticeship
the completion time varies (most learners complete within 6 - 8 months)
assessments need to be completed before entering the preparation stage for end point assessment of the apprenticeship
