Dixons Music Primary continues to be an Outstanding school
Posted 6th September 2022
Staff at Dixons Music Primary were delighted to learn last week that the school continues to be Outstanding in all areas after a recent inspection by Ofsted.
The report from the inspection carried out in June this year, highlights the academy as a ‘remarkable school where excellence is a habit’. It praises school leaders for ensuring ‘ a united school community where pupils and staff share the same high expectations’. The report comments on the success of the academy’s values driven culture, focusing on the core values of hard work, independence and enjoyment, and emphasises that students ‘live these values every day’.
The academy is part of Dixons Academies Trust, a high performing school trust of 16 schools whose mission is to challenge educational and social disadvantage in the North.
Luke Robins-Ross, Principal, Dixons Music Primary said:
“Staff have a relentless focus on doing whatever it takes for our students to climb their mountain and we are extremely proud of all staff, students and families for continuing to ensure that the academy’s mission is achieved. It is really about being values driven, focusing relentlessly on our mission and results, doing the simple things well every day and building strong relationships at all levels.”
