“The nine-day working fortnight policy had a transformative impact on my wellbeing and job satisfaction.”
“I love and completely align to the ambition [of the policy]. I want to do something for the staff. I think the profession has become unattainably hard in the volume of work and expectation of the industry. So, it feels really good to be part of a school that is doing something good for the staff.”
Early analysis of our nine-day fortnight shows a meaningful impact on staff experience, and we’re excited to share what we’ve learnt so far. In this session, we’ll take you through:
the thinking and planning behind the policy
how we implemented the model in practice
what the data is telling us about flexibility, agency and workload
how staff themselves describe the impact
We’ll also reflect honestly on the challenges we faced and how we worked through them, offering insights that may be useful for schools and trusts considering similar approaches.
We look forward to welcoming you.
