Employee Referral Scheme
We recently surveyed all of our new starters from the last academic year and found that 20% of our hires came from referrals. Firstly, a huge thank you to those that have recommended someone to work at Dixons - word of mouth marketing is extremely powerful.
To further recognise your support, we are excited to be launching our employee referral scheme in January.
How it works
To ensure a simplified process, Dixons offer a fixed payment of £200 for successful referrals to any of our permanent vacancies. This is paid as a bonus payment and is subject to tax and NI deductions.
The referral payment is paid in two instalments of £100. The first instalment is paid the month after the employee commences employment. The second instalment of £100 is paid the month after successful completion of the employee’s probationary period or after 6 months of continuous employment in the case of teaching staff who have no probationary period.
Process
Referrals must be indicated by the applicant on the application form. This must be done at the time of application and cannot be amended retroactively. If you refer someone for a role at our trust, you should ask them to specify your name at the point of application (there will be a designated box for them to add your name to).
If your referral is successful, you will receive an email to confirm this. You will receive a further email to confirm the successful completion of probation / 6 months of service of your referral.
