Giving the community a voice: building better relationshipsWorking with our Citizens UK organiser, this session will focus on training and planning to run a listening campaign through the Parent Teacher Association, to engage and build relationships with Dixons Brooklands Academy parents. Listening to what is important to our families can be the basis of building stronger relationships and generating new ideas and energy. This session will set us up with key next steps.
The joy of reading: the big Dixons book swap

Reading can help you relax and unwind, broaden your understanding of the world - take you to different places, challenge you to think about different issues but most importantly bring joy to your everyday life. Books bring people together, through sharing your thoughts and interpretations on a book, you’ll find yourself learning a lot about others, broadening your perspectives and getting to know your colleagues.

Come together on 14 February to swap a book with a colleague (don't worry you'll get it back) and share the joy of reading.
