The cycle review: turning insight into action

Good data only creates value when it leads to better decisions.

After spending the first day of our cycle review understanding our performance, day two is focused on deciding what comes next.

Using the evidence gathered during the review, we revisit our current big moves and ask a series of important questions. Should a priority continue? Has it achieved its purpose? Does it need to be paused, reshaped or replaced altogether?

This process ensures our strategy remains responsive rather than fixed. Our priorities evolve as our organisation evolves, allowing us to focus our energy where it will have the greatest impact.

Once we've agreed our big moves, we identify our rallying cry, What's Most Important Right Now. This single priority provides clarity for the next 13 weeks and becomes the focus of our weekly tactical meetings.

By the end of the cycle review, everything is aligned. Our priorities are clear, our actions are defined and our teams understand exactly where their efforts should be directed.

Strategy shouldn't be something that's written once and revisited months later. It should be a living process that adapts as organisations learn and grow.
