Abigail Clayton
Teacher of English
Abigail relocated from Coventry to Liverpool to study Drama. Working in various management positions following university, Abigail began studying for a PGDE in Secondary Education. A Shakespeare enthusiast and a lover of writing, she joined Dixons Fazakerley Academy’s English department in 2021. Abigail is passionate about encouraging all students to reach their full potential and wants to ensure each student thrives in a rewarding career. Abigail fondly speaks of teachers that inspired her when she was in school and how they were the real driving force in her success – she now wants to do the same for the students that she teaches. Now a member of the shadow board, she is looking forward to meeting with other members of the wider trust to support in making all Dixons schools the best they can possibly be.
