Wesley Davies


Associate Executive Principal

Wesley joined Dixons Academies as a Newly Qualified Teacher in 2001 at Dixons City Academy. During his time at Dixons City, Wesley was Head of Humanities before becoming a Senior Teacher in 2009. In 2012, Wesley took on the role as Vice Principal at Dixons Trinity Academy. In this role, Wesley was instrumental in ensuring that behaviour and teaching were graded outstanding in 2014.

In 2014, Wesley opened Dixons McMillan Academy. Dixons McMillan Academy secured outstanding in all areas in 2017, a remarkable achievement considering the sixth form provision had only been open nine months. Currently, Wesley is leading on the opening of our sixth form academy, as well as being the Principal at Dixons McMillan.

Wesley is a Theology and Sociology graduate from Leeds University. He studied a variety of religions at university with a focus on Islam and the philosophy of religion. Wesley continues to teach Religious Studies at Dixons McMillan to A level standard. He has led various RE networks, spoken at various conferences and been a guest lecturer on PGCE courses.
