Growing up, Ryan was obsessed with personal development through tools or self-determination. This interest started him off in a career in the fitness industry as a nutritional advisor, dance coach and personal trainer. After a few years, Ryan realised he needed to seek fulfilment elsewhere through his interest in IT.
This part of Ryan's career began with a qualification at a local college, where he went on to be employed as an IT Student Support Advisor. Following this, he worked at two other colleges and a disability technology advisor company, before joining Leeds Trinity University where he moved through the ranks covering the full IT spectrum, most recently as IT Infrastructure Manager.
During this time, Ryan became a chartered member of APM and BCS, and a professional member of ICS2, BCI and CMI. After my long career at the University, Ryan joined Dixons to help challenge educational and social disadvantage by supporting our staff to achieve stability and performance via technology.
